Hey, I'm a mountain runner, cyclist climber among other things, I do a shed load of training, 14 hours + a week of multi intensity work.
(not trying to bulk myself up but just trying to explain why I'm pissed.
anyway I pulled my groin and am wondering what to do with it, I rested it for a few weeks while cycling and doing other core work but am wondering if anyone can recommend me some exercises to re-strengthen my groin with out the risk of re pulling it as I can imagine it is pretty week at the moment

I have a question that will help the OP if it can be answered, what is the recommended amount of reps for rehabilitation? Would you follow low reps for strength? Middle reps for hypertrophy and strength? Or would you do high reps for endurance etc?

Let me ask you this , if a rope was damaged would you try putting it under a huge amount of stress ??

If a rope was damaged, why would you bother using it at all? You'd go get a new one.

You haven't answered the question either. The answers will help the OP and me (since I'm struggling to shake off a micro tear in my hamstring)

This is one of the reasons why you don't want to ask strangers for advice on the internet - a doctor wouldn't even give you advice unless he saw you - you need to get to an expert who will find out about ALL the different activities you are involved in, info on which will inform (preventative) treatment/recommendations.
