Positively Positive Thread (No Doom No Gloom)

With all of the Doom and Gloom in the air. I thought I would start a discussion on all the good things that are happening.
The Idea is you post something good that happened to you recently or even some story a friend has told you e.g you dropped your wallet and some one saw it happen and gave it back to you.
One story I have is a friend of mine was going away at the weekend at the last minute discovered his passport was up. A very nice girl from the passport office got it renewed last thing on Friday and met him at Clearys at 8pm on Friday night with a new one.

Loads of good things happen every day so lets hear them!!!

I will leave up to you imagination but don't forget the rule!!! NO Doom Or Gloom.

I caught Derek Mooney in the back of the head with a can of beans from 30 yards yesterday.

    He thanked me afterwards too!

We're all going to die alone. For every human being is alone in their existence. We reach out to eachother only to be rebutted time and again. If you think about it, the concept of a loving god is absolutely absurd.
The only thing we can be absolutely sure of in this life is our guilt. For if we allow ourselves to think about it, we are all capable of making this a better world yet stew in our apathy or hide in our ignorance.
Love is a convincing delusion but all it shows is the power of our biology.

Woke up this morning and put my feet on the floor.
Delighted to exist considering the alternative, everything after that is a bonus.

You wouldn't be saying that if your feet landed on a landmine.

Gym membership, the greatest example of 'value for money' that we have. Almost 365 days a year available to a person to train, swim, wash, shave etc and all for under
500 Euro, or thereabouts! Less than a Euro a day; unreal!

You probably should have spend that money on maths lessons first. It works out as more than a euro a day.

Yep, was just thinking how this positive thread could in fact turn out to be very depressing and very not positive. What's it say if you have nothing to post?

You have to focus on something positive. For example it is close to christmas. Just be happy that you dont have my cold.
    Schadenfreude wins all.

Not really, landmines are quite expensive. It would be a shame if one didn't go off every now and again.

    Positive thread eh......

The politicans in FF are hugely experienced and many of the senior ministers have held many important posts.
So our current all knowing and all powerful leaders are very experienced so for my positive post, I'd say they should know what to do at the current time better then anyone

Ya can't flame me, positive thread :)
