By going onto the Uk website last summer I saved €120 Dublin - Holyhead.
What a joke! How can they justify it???

    Email to Stenaline.

    Dear Sir\Madam,

On trying to book a ferry I found a massive difference in the price depending on whether I choose to book through the UK or Irish website.

Whilst I understand that currency movements affect your business I would like to know how you intend to address this issue.

In the given example, the crossing is 25% more expensive on the Irish site compared to the UK.

    Regards,

    xxx

    Blimey.

They replied, they have now implemented a better system.

Go & check, apart from rounding it all seems right.

    Once for the consumers?

Last week my manager booked his ferry trip with Stena.

He told us that for some reason, booking a return trip from UK to Dublin is cheaper than travelling return from Dublin to UK! He told us that he only realised this after accidentally booking a return trip from UK, instead of Dublin. When he rang Stena to get his trip switched around, they did it at no extra cost! So he effectively (and accidentally) saved himself 80 EURO.
