Anyone go to this xmas market? open till 8pm in evenings. Do they serve beer up till 8pm or later? Would be nice to visit in evening when dark and weather is frosty.

I've been there the last two years. Not sure about this year though. so far no stand was open longer than 8. A pitty imo. I agree it's much nicer when it's dark and for those working almost not worth going there in the evening.

Was there last year any enjoyed it. Shame it finishes at 8, when Oktoberfest was on at the same place it went on until 12:30 which was great, 8 is very early.

We pootled along yesterday about 4pm. Quite a lot of buggies, but it seemed to thin out after 5. It has a few decent stands - namely the Erdinger stand, sausage, gluhwein and some nice potato-ey one. Huts are so-so. Quite a lot of save the planet tat. Not as good as the ones you get in Germany, but the food & drink makes up for it!
Pity it closes at 8, it's quite similar to the Oktoberfest one, but more geared towards families. And there is ALWAYS confusion over the pfand for the Gluhwein cups.
