They were killed in a horrible accident involving some out of control dairy cattle.

    Black Moo-nday they called it.

Just wondering does Ireland have the infrastructure to handle heavy snowfall, are there actually snow ploughs to clear the roads or does the whole country just go into chaos or bliss with not having to go to work. Ive been living in Norway for nearly 3 years now and when we get the slightest bit of snow the snow ploughs are out and trucks laying grit all over the roads so it business as usual, but Norway obviously gets a lot of snow compared to Ireland so they need it.

i would say there is probably one snow plough in the whole country :D

i remember driving through finland and massive snow ploughs everywhere keeping the motorways clear, if ireland received as much snow as i saw those few days then this country would grind to a halt, people would be dying by the side of the road :P

Yeah we get some insane snow over here, last winter 5 feet of snow feel in 2 days, no joke! Couldn't believe my eyes, but the motorway was only out of action for a few hours and the people stuck on the motorway were given food and petrol to keep their cars running for heat.

I think your right about Ireland though, i only remember one heavy snowfall in Dublin during the 80's and i never remember seeing a snow plough.
