Show of hands, who's been drinking? There was a half bottle of jameson in my room, now there's only a 1/4 left. I fear/hope before long there will be an empty bottle. Anyone else?

    Just getting started

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Awesome, pass the bottle.

Question: a friend left a half bottle of wine at mine the other night, should I drink it? What are the repercussions?

    Me. A lickle.

    Abso-****ing-lutley!

The repercussions are someone else will drink it if you don't.

:D i would love to sit in the some pub with some friends and have some drink, but i don't have any here yet! :D And drinking at home alone is not cool unless you are drinking some beers while watching movie or TV, or doing something else where beer take his part!

But anyway cheers to all of you who are doing it now!

my darling sister brought 2 bottles of wine home today that she received as a gift from a dude giving a wine tasting where she was overlooking a food tasting thingiemajiggie.

there is one bottle with one glass left which I felt NO guilt in claiming as my own.

    Question

the bottle remaining has about a thimbleful gone.

She is away til Sunday - should I not 'waste' the wine and therefore rescue it from the drain or leave it for her return...

    hmmmmm

I know my lovely boardsie mates won't point me in the wrong direction here.

Also should be noted that it is red. I was drinking white up to now..

    hangovers be damned I say!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

So you've drank one bottle lilminx-if you drink a second will you throw up? If not I say go for it. If yes, maybe stay away.

Bard my fair knave your words have brought to my attention that I may have foresaken my reputation and portrayed myself as a wine slurping lightweight. I had a a few glasses of wine previous to this discussion.

Far from the point of reflux, I merely add my toe to the pool of mild giddiness brought about from the clinking of glasses with friends.

Been drinking hot port and mulled wine since 2ish and I'm not drunk.... Somethings wrong. I am, however, expecting my mate (who has also been on the port and wine and decided to go out for more three hours ago) to collapse in the door at any minute.

Now here's my dilemma, he'll pass out within a few minutes of arriving and be completly incapable of stopping me abusing his body. Suggestions?

Big xmas party tomorrow which we and all of our other friends will attend, so I'm looking for something he won't notice until it's too late and will generally end with him in a shame spiral.
