Cycle Sportives

    Hi folks. Have been jealous reading about people attempting the Marmotte and Le Etape next year. Would love to do one of them but while it is doable, probably not advisable given that I have only taken up leisure cycling this year.

    Anyway: I plan on doing as many sportives as I can next year. I am wondering, would it be a good idea to set up a sticky, where people can post/edit all upcoming sportives in Ireland (with link to websites etc).

    I know there was a list of sportives for 2008 posted for 2008, but I wouldn't mind seeing one for '09.

    There are a few that I know of (Wicklow 200, ROK, Sean Kelly, Tour of Kildare, Mt leinster Challenge. I would like to know are there more.
    there was a Tour of the Burren (which I think could be a great place to cycle).
