    Hi had to reformat my laptop so I reinstalled the Zen software and now I cant connect my zen to my laptop has anyone got any ideas

    If it's an older OS you may need to install the USB bus.

    when you install the creative software it asks you to connect the player , what happened when you did this? Also might be a good idea to get the latest sofware from the creative site.

    Go to the creative website and download the new software for your player.
    I have this zen too.
