    Hey all,

Just gone for an interview this evening, all went very well, seems like a great opportunity if i can get it.

    But...

Tomorrow i have to do a psychology profiling exam! Not sure what to expect to be honest, never done one before.

They do say that there is no right or wrong answer but come on, there is always a right answer!

Any tips or where could i find one to practice would be very helpful...

    Cheers

    Moggie

These profile tests are designed to check your personality and attitude, often with regard to particular tasks you will be responsible for. Let's say you apply for a customer facing position. They need to check if you are helpful, polite, what are your problem solving skills, how do you cope with stress.

The tests I am familiar with consist of a large number of simple questions or situations where you choose what would you do. The trick is that you need to be consistent. There will be many questions which describe virtually the same characteristics, disguised as different situations, and your answers should not differ. Don't try to guess and second guess what is the correct option, just choose what is natural to you and best reflects your personality.

Fixed that for you :D And before you ask, yes I have had experience of these from the employers side of things. An utter and complete waste of time.
