A Timelapse of the 2008 Hurricane Season

    For those who haven't seen it here it is. A timelapse of the 2008 Hurricane season showing the 16 named storms spawning in the Atlantic basin. The version on NOAA uses quicktime and is 50MB and may take some time to download. So I have converted it to an Xvid Avi file and have reduced it to 10MB without affecting the quality. You can watch it here. Right click and save as. :)

    Lovely footage... see how far south the jet was coming out of NE USA... no wonder we got such a poor summer - relentless.
