I bought an xbox 360 off a german site in september, however it was faulty after a while and I returned it to them to repair/replace. They received it on the 19th of November. They wont reply to emails/support tickets or posts on their forum. I paid with paypal using my credit card but its too late to launch a claim with paypal (not them useless shower of ***** would be any help anyways). So I'm just wondering can anyone tell me if its possible to get my credit card company to do a charge back? I have email proof stating that they received my console on the 19th November and also that they have not responded to support tickets on their website. No experience in credit card chargebacks, just heard ppl mention them before. If anyone knows if I can do anything in this case to get my money back it would be appreciated.

CC companies may differ on their policies, but last time I had to do a chargeback I had 60 days from date of purchase. It looks like you are past that time now but given that you returned the item and have proof of return could change the situation. Best to ring your CC company and talk them through the problem. If they can facilitate you they will ask you to send them in written confirmation and copies of all correspondence.

AIB offer a chargeback facility. They charge €5 for investigating it and if they fail to get your money back, and if they do get your money back for you, there's no charge.:P
