I know this is just being pedantic but...
if an ad says tickets are €59.00 including booking fee doesn't this mean that the booking fee is part of the €59?
The word including means 'take in as a part or element'.

what happened to that law/legislation talked about a few months ago in the news that would make them display the full cost including fee's, obviously hasn't been brought in yet then.

Yes, a booking fee has been included in the ticket price. As jor_el says there's an additional service charge too.

Apparently it has been put on hold. I think the EU ruling on charging extra for card charges may affect the proposed legislation.

They probably get away with it since you can actually get it for that advertised price. If you pay cash in the ticketmaster kiosk in st stephens green there is no handling, service, credit card, makey-up charges. You get it for €59 which does include the booking fee.

Also always check www.tickets.ie you can get them for that price there too, in fact a while ago you could get tickets for €1 less than the advertised price on tickets.ie

Isn't there a €2 handling fee or similar from ticketmaster outlets?

Also good is http://toutless.com for cost-price sales

Places like HMV & soundcellar charge more, not the ticketmaster kiosk though, only if paying cash though.
