Hey! I dont know if this is the correct forum to post in but i have a question and it kinda relates to fitness!!

Ive applied to a fire brigade in Scotland and ive passed all the interview stages except the hearing test in the medical which i marginally failed. The doc told me that i should get a second opinion on my hearing over here in Dublin. So im going to get my hearing tested again over here but im concerned that the results will just be the same. I can hear fine and have no problems at all with my ears but there has been a tiny bit of damage due to loud gigs that i used to attend. So, my question is, if my second hearing test doesn't go well, does anyone know of any doctors who would be sympathetic to my situation and be willing to sign my ears off as fit for service?!!! I've been told that many doctors will do this but im not sure how true this is!! This hearing test is the only thing that stands between me and my dream job so any helpful replies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

explain the story to the doctor before he gives you the test he might pass you if not try the same with a different doctor etc

Hardly anything to do with fitness? But I must remember to stay away from gigs!
