Same topic & company involved aired on Corks 96FM two days earlier. The company has today apparently issued an apology in one of the local free papers for their initial ad that sparked all of this.

Basically they were advertising RPG's, assault rifles & pistols, oh, and a shotgun for the stocking filler for €35 and ommitted the word "replica" in their ad and had a chap in full camo for airsoft pistols etc.

They achieved their marketing/advertising quota no doubt..... :D

The ironic thing being of course that if a gangsta was going to "pop a cap in your ass" you'd much rather he was using an Airsoft.

Just looking on the Airsoft forum those guys seem to think that if they talk reasonably to the Minister the Minister will be reasonable back to them.

Maybe they should set up a consultative panel?

Poor dears, they've got a lot to learn.

I hope they see the light soon! Otherwise the minister will butter them up and tell them all will be fine. Then introduce a complete ban im afraid. Airsoft kept there distance from real steel to avoid "bad press" but now it looks like we are all in the one boat. Pass me the drill so I can drill another hole in the bottom, of the boat, to let the water out!!!
