    Hey folks,

Anyone know of a company that will ship music equipment?

I've tried DHL and UPS and they are crazy expensive.

Looking to ship 4/5 guitars in hard cases.

    Cheers.

    €750+

If that's €150 each I wouldn't call it crazy expensive, €100-200 seems around the norm (within Europe) depending on weight, insurance, speed, etc.

Be sure to post back if you find somewhere very reasonable anyway, its a question that comes up on the forum quite often.

750 was actually only for 3 guitars and for one direction. We need to bring spares so, it's gonna be 4/5 now.

I'll certainly share anything I find out.

Try searching specifically for a small courier who specialises with transport to Sweden. I has to ship a bass earlier in the year to Hungary and found a courier called Irfutar who operate specifically between Ireland and Hungary, it worked out less than half the price of the well known American companies. There might be similar services between here and Sweden.

For that sort of price it may be cheaper to fly over yourself with the guitars as luggage.

I havn't tried them but you might want to check out Postnet:

115 euro for 30 Kilos anywhere in Europe including collection. That should cover 3 guitars anyways.
