For the second last 52FUNK ever, we are happy to bring a live element back to the club in the form of Rarely Seen Above Ground ( R.S.A.G).

R.S.A.G. aka Jeremy Hickey is a multi-instrumentalist who records, performs and produces all his own material. His debut Double Album 'Organic Sampler' has just been released on acclaimed local label Psychonavigation Records. The record has been getting rave comments from the Irish media, chosen as album of the week by the renowned music store 'Road Records' on Fade St and by Jim Carroll in ‘The Ticket’. Like a mutant hybrid of Talking Heads, ESG and Fela Kuti, the music is funky and strange and percussion heavy. His live show has already brought the house down in the Body and Soul area at Electric Picnic, at our weekly Nightflight in the Button Factory, and at a series of high profile support slots to the likes of The Fall. The live show is a stunning spectacle, with Hickey drumming and singing alongside pre-recorded backing tracks and specially cut visuals. Hickey should be taking to the stage around 12.30, with 52FUNK dj’s providing you with all the usual dancefloor fare before and after……
