Has this ceased? Since the move to the new BE website it (and the Sligo service and possibly others?) are no longer listed...

Unfortunately this ceased a couple of months ago. It might be worth contacting BE to see if they would put it back on for the Crimbo period as that is when they got most of their business. The more people that enquire the better!

they also cancelled the Wicklow one, which was a great service but generally only carried a handful of people. They're not likely to reinstate it just for Xmas at this stage.

Yeah, it's gone a while now. I always thought the lack of interest in the service was due to the times - 12:30am (too early) and 3:30am (too late). If they had one around 2:00am it possibly would have suited more people.

    3.30am is not too late.

The bus needs time to get adequate time complete it's first run and then come back for it's second run, allowing for delays and an ever changing number of drop offs.

I think what Tom was saying was that it might have worked better if there was just a 2am service

I am talking in terms of too late for people on a night out. If you finish work at 5:30pm and head for a few pints, believe me, 3:30am is too late.
