    Hi All
    In a dilemma...
Buying laptop as a present for someone and I am wondering which one to get. I have looked at the Dell one think its about 500 - 600 euro in Pc world, but other people are telling me that acer are better and cheaper.
What it will be used for is mainly internet, word and putting a few photos on etc. not needed for gaming etc but would need to have usb and cd drive.
    Thanks
    DJ

How much you pay for this in PC World?

well i was wanting to get something straight away (long story)......and i needed what this laptop offers so i paid 775 euro for it, i could probably have got it a little cheaper if i shopped around but i needed somthing straight away.............the manager added a case and wireless mouse (value from pc world 120 euro).......so you could say i paid 655 depending how you look at it...........the proof is in the pudding, if i needed a new laptop today i would go back and get this machine.......its a cracker in my opinion. I wanted to get the widescreen version(1720) but you can get the smaller one(1520 i believe) for around 120-140 cheaper.........i watch alot of film and play some games so it was an easy choice for me to get the widescreen..........its a little heavy but its a joy to use.
