Difference between 2 Dell monitors?

The more expensive is a business model. It has less features(resolution, response time etc) but a better warranty and is very likely more reliable. For home use I would go with the cheaper one though.

Cheers for that cuddlesworth. Any idea why the cheaper one has "21.5 inch viewable" after its size. Are all monitors smaller than advertised or just this one?

Most are. Manufacturers like to measure from bezel to bezel rather then the real size of the lcd panel. But most lcd panels are made to accommodate this.

I am looking at purchasing a new monitor. I am looking at a 22 inch.

The two I found are the following:-

    http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=ie&l=en&s=dhs&cs=iedhs1&sku=185544

Anyone know why one is € 229.00 and the other is € 266.09.

Any obvious benefits of one over another? I'm no expert on monitors at all.

    Which would you buy?

    They are also different resolution,

    The S2209W is 1920 x 1080 (Full HD, 16:9 ratio)

    The E2209W is only 1680 x 1050 and most likley a 16:10 ratio.
