I was really looking forward to the 12th week and the end of morning sickness but the gods have laughed in my face quite loudly and i am still suffering :(
This is the first time in 11 days that i have felt able enough to be on the computer, i had to be admitted into hospital last week because i couldn't keep anything down and i ended up being very badly dehydrated.

So i'm going to try and go back to work tomorrow, i'm going stir crazy watching Jeremy Kyle and with x-mas coming and all the bills coming i can't afford not to go back.

Good news is that the baby is fighting fit, one of the nurses said that it was a good sign to have such bad sickness because it means that your baby is thriving!

Hopefully i will start to feel slightly better soon because tea and toast is really starting to lose their appeal :D

Poor you :( can't say the same for me though... my morning sickness was relatively short and sweet only a couple of days every couple of weeks in the early stages.

Just remember to keep hydrated sweetie!

Ah you poor thing :( I really hope you do ok back at work, at least you won't be back too long before christmas. They do say that it's a good sign that baby is thriving, but couldn't he/she give mammy a break once in a while? :) Have a chat with the bump, tell baby it's grounded til it's 21 unless you get 24 hours with no nausea! Then again, I tried that with mine and tiredness, and it just got worse. Baby starts as it means to go on, not listening. It has to be a girl ;)

It's horrendous isn't it? I had all day sickness up to around 18 weeks and have felt really great since then. I am now 7 months and since Saturday I've started to be sick again and am feeling queasy the whole time so I think its come back. I really don't know how I'll be able to cope if I go back to the way I was, nevermind the fact that I am now juch bigger, more tired and uncomfortable. It was quite possibly one of the worst times of my life and has seriously made me question whether I could go through another pregnancy ever again :(

I had all day sickness for most of the pregnancy.
All i can say is dry cream crackers, ginger ale and jellies are your friend.
    Hope it passes soon.

Ah poor you, i really feel for you! I had 24/7 morning sickness all through the pregnancy. Depending on your levels of dehydration you may be diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum. Personally i could never leave the house my little kit of sealable bags, water, crackers, toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. The sex appeal was immense! ;) Do remember to really look after yourself, i found certain smells would send me into convulsions of vomiting and i had very bad dizzy spells. I'll never forget when i collapsed on the luas and had to crawl off the tram-nobody even asked if i was ok!

Edit-pink lady apples were good for me!

Ya i was actually told i had Hyperemesis Gravidarum or as my doctor likes to call it 5 star vomiting :)
Strangely Koka noodles seem to help me, they have to be the chicken ones though. Ginger and crackers just don't work for me, my stomach is still pretty fragile so a bottle of Acidex is my best friend.

Really feel for you. I had morning sickness and it didnt ease off till I was about 20 weeks.
Oranges helped for me, and fruit flavoured jellys.

I hope it gets better for you soon so you can enjoy your pregnancy.

Pretty much same as SpiderPiglet, mine lasted till 21 weeks then for the last two weeks came back. I guess everyones different and each person has there own way of coping or foods they can stomach. I real feel for you its tough going but i hope it goes reall soon for you op and the rest of pregnancy going well.

    Take care :)

I actually bought a little bottle of orange oil in the health shop the other day, for some reason the smell settles my stomach. I haven't been brave enough to eat any oranges yet but a bowl of Weetabix seems to work with the 'ol heartburn.
