There seems to be a spate of wheeley bins being stolen from around the Kilmeague to Prosperous area. Our bin, along with those belonging to a few of our neighbours, was taken the other night/morning after it was collected. From driving around, it appears that they are being taken and dumped in hedgerows further on down the road. Is this a new thing thats started happening recently, or is it just that Im only noticing it now?

Just a word of warning to those in the area; dont leave your bin out on the road for too long a time! The council are charging something like €35 to replace them...

We've had our stolen in Maynooth as well. Thorntons replace them free but they did tell us that they have a lot of stolen bins recently.
