Items Stolen From Luggage

Just wondering returned from JFK airport recently and when i picked my bag up in shannon and got home 2 electronic items had bein taken from my bag!!! Just wondering if this has happened to anyone recently?? and if so what did they do.

happened me in Singapore..
I noticed before I left the baggage collection area,
and reported it to the airline baggage handling agent.
After a few letters I got nothing from them, but
did get something from my insurance company after much hardship.
(had the letters to prove I had reported it)

Happened to me in JFK last July (ipod). I didn't notice until 3 days later and by then it was too late for the insurance to kick in.
