    Hey all,

I'm heading to Passo Tonale on thurs for a few days and then on to the quieter montecampione to meet up with friends for a few more.

Any advice on them? Places to stay, eat, drink, board, etc.? (Red slope boarder)
Will be on my todd in passo tolane.

    Thanks,
    Willy

    Hi Willy,

Heading there myself but not until end Feb. Conditions look great there already judging by snowforecast.com and the webcams.

From reading other forums it seems to be a quiet enough town but good boarding.

    Enjoy

I was in Passo Tonale a coulpe of years ago, stayed in the Paridiso hotel, not the best hotel in the world, found the food a little disappointing. Skiing was ok if abit limitied. Some good red runs but they are south facing and can get icey, that said on the other side of the valley up on the glacier there is one of the best longest and powery (north facing) blacks I have ever skied. There is a gondela overhead all the way down, 2km long and drops 1000m. The Paridiso has the umbrella bar on the bottom of the slopes which is fairly lively from 4 onwards.
