Insulating old poured concrete house

My family home is an old 1930's poured concrete house, currently without any heating (a whole other story). We are in the process of getting in some heating but the walls are very damp (wet with condensation during the night in the bedrooms) and the bedrooms have black mould on the wallpaper. You wake up with lungs full of phlegm after a night in those rooms.
There is no option of doing any major work on the house (my father is resitant) and the only thing I can do is try to insulate the walls.
So my question is - how can I insulate the concrete walls? They aren't made of blocks, they aren't cavity walls, they are just mixed concrete.
Is there anything I can put inside on the walls to make them warmer?
I have seen plasterboard with aeroboard stuck onto one side of it being used to insulate a ceiling - could I use that on the walls?
I have no idea how to do this, so any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look at Kingspan, Xtratherm, Moy and Rockwool web sites.
High density Insulation board bonded to plasterboard would be idea. It can be fixed between timber battens or on dabs.

Insulate the attic fully, try to get an overall thickness of 300mm firbre glass or Rockwool. Insulate all attic pipework and sides and lid of water tank. This will have a great effect on keping heat in.

Cut external wall vents in bedrooms with bad condensation - corbet drill or specialist from Golden Pages - circa €100 per 100mm dia hole.

External insulation is another option, it may be alittle more expensive but it could be alot less disruptive. Window cills can be extended the dept of insulation plus new render.
