Are there any programs out there that will shut down a specific process or application after a certain number of minutes/hours and not shut the entire computer down or some sort of plug-in/script for VLC that would do the same job as a TV's sleep timer? :pac:

I'm really hazy on the subject but im pretty sure it can be accomplished with a batch file. Basically after a predetermined length of time it would close the process. Not exactly sure how to go about it though.

There is a programme, ill root it out for you..
As far as I am aware, FLV / VLC have the plug-in already installed to shut down after movie has finished!

This is a trial version but at least you can see if its what your looking for

The requirement is to be able to shutdown individual applications, not the machine.......
