Effeminate tastes in a man!

Hello!

I've been looking for a new mobile phone recently because my old one is really past-it. Handset after handset has passed across my computer screen with none really catching my eye. They're all grey steel or sleek black plastic. That was until I set my eyes on this one:

It's great and if all was equal, it'd be the phone I'd go for. It's really pretty, so different to all the mediocre phones I've seen so far and I've fallen in love with it (as much as you can with a telephone...). But if I bought it, anyone seeing me use it would think I was going through my girlfriend's phone!

It's not just that, though. I'm a sucker for all sorts of pretty, cute design on stuff. I love that Hello Kitty character, for example, and my computer's got flowery stickers round the monitor. I just love glittery, shimmery, flowery stuff! My design tastes, I'd have to say, are decisively effeminate in a lot of areas. I find myself having to alter my purchases just so people don't think I'm strange.

But it's not a sexuality thing.. I'm not gay and I don't go round wearing makeup and women's underwear or anything!

Am I just odd?

Honestly, if I saw a guy walking around with a phone like that, and he definitely wasn't gay, I think I'd fall in love. It's just really, really quirky and endearing. I say own your effeminate tastes, some woman will really appreciate them!

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Obviously things in nature and technology are designed to be attractive to the senses. Who doesn't like puppies and sunsets and flowers?? It's not girlie.

I think the phone is lovely by the way.

I would assume it was you GFs phone. I would think it odd to find out it was yours by choice becasue it's not just a phone designed with girls in mind- i would say it's a phone for girly girls:D Takes all sorts, OP. Feckim if they can't take a joke....
