    Hi

Is it possible to stop a youtube video downloading once you have started it?

I am often on a webpage such as a forum. There may be several embedded youtube videos, I might click one to watch a bit of it, but then I want to stop and perhaps click another one. I have limited bandwidth (on mobile broadband).

Try refreshing the page or press CTRL+N for a new page and close the current one...

This wont stop you downloading a youtube video once you've started but it will stop anything downloading without you giving it permission.

    http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
Blocks all Flash content in a web page from loading automatically and allows selective activation and whitelisting of sites.

You'll just get a button to click for any and all flash objects embedded in a page. Makes the internet a much less annoying place IMHO
