If you have never done this type of thing before, I would recommend seeing a counsellor first. They won't be able to diagnose or prescribe medicine, but they may be able to help you find whether this is just an emotional issue that is dragging you down, rather than some psychiatric illness. If they feel the need to, they will recommend someone for you to see.

    Try here:

Sorry, that is an actual association, here is a list.

I'm assuming this is in relation to the boy friend situation. You are just feeling depressed as a result of a very poor relationship. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    You could try this website
http://www.psychotherapy-ireland.com/ but it might be like pinning a tail on a donkey to pick someone suitable. Perhaps go to your GP who may recommend someone they use and are happy with. Good luck

It can be hard to find one that suits you, at first. If you are not happy with the first one you attend, dont let that put you off. I had to go through three before I found one I 'clicked' with. I saw her for nearly two years and it changed my life. I am of the opinion that everyone should attend a counsellor at some stage in their life, even if there isn't a whole lot wrong, it really helps put things into perspective.
