How far away are 64GB flash players?

    I am looking for a new mp3 player.

    I currently have about 43GB of music in my library.

    I was looking at the creative x-fi, but they are only 32GB. I dont really want to go and spend money on a 32GB player if a 64GB player is around the corner :(

    A mixture of flash and sd storage doesnt really bother me, but the music library would need to be seemless. From what I have read, this is not possible on the creative.

    Also I'm not a fan of bundled software so I would like one that is either MTP or treated as a removable disk.



    How far away are 64GB (non-ipod) flash players?

    I'd recommend you look at a 16gb Cowon D2 and a 32gb SDHC card, seemless music integration and MSC or MTP support (unlike the Zen)...otherwise, we've no idea when 64gb players will happen...I personally think it could be a while due to current economic conditions Vs demand for players of such capacities...but there's nothing of the sort coming form iriver or cowon...Creative might surprise us but they're a joke of a company at the moment and quite likely will go out of business....
