yeah I simply mailed the department with my order and personal info, stated what the problem was, a few emails later they had arranged for a courer back to germany that they paid for. It was very easy,

Thanks man, have e-mailed them now. Was wondering, how long did it take for them to replace/repair and return the item?

I was doing the emailing for my sister, but in the end since I wasn't there to hand it to them she didn't bother and paid someone local to fix it so I can't answer how long it took! sorry

You should have gotten a return slip with the delivery (a yellow sheet of paper if I remember correctly). Should give you all the details.
