I think it was something to do with Wrestling.

The Fight Network vanished during the week. A shame as I watched some stuff on there.

It's a pain. It's the only reason one of our customers got Sky. Mossy if you find out where it's gone to or if it's comming back, can you let me know? I thank you kindly :)

I got this pack from their PR Office during the week:

"From what I am told TFN will be back up soon. They are working to get the
    signal /channel back."

Thats all, no explanation of what is going on.

Its gone and their blaming signal problems.
Their channel in Canada is off air also so it might be something to do with the recession.

    251 on freesat.

The Fight Network (UK & Ireland) was a free-to-air digital satellite television sports channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland, devoted to airing programming related to boxing, mixed martial arts, pro-wrestling and other combat sports. Launched on 14 January 2008, it was the first international channel from the Canadian-based The Fight Network. The UK & Ireland variant evolved from TWC Fight! (originally The Wrestling Channel) after they acquired the channel.

The Fight Network in the UK and Ireland ceased transmission on 1st December 2008 at 00:00UTC. They were removed from Sky Digital's EPG at 06:00UTC December 1st. The former frequency of this channel on Eurobird, 11.260Ghz (Vertical, Symbol Rate 27.5Mbaud, FEC 2/3) currently carries a standard color bar test pattern.
