This is meant as a bit of craic and nothing more. What songs, upon hearing them, make you think of 90 degree caps, bum fluff taches and, to quote the Arctic Monkeys, "tracky bottoms tucked in socks"?

Whether you like or loathe them there's plenty out there.

    For me -

XTM - Fly On The Wings Of Love
    DJ Sammy - Heaven
    Tiesto - Adagio For Strings
    Mark McCabe - Maniac 2000
    Aslan - Crazy World
    Scooter - The Logical Song
    Darude - Sandstorm
The Wolfe Tones - Celtic Symphony
    Cascada - Everytime We Touch
Pete St. John - The Fields of Athenry

(For the record, I love all the above except Aslan, the Wolfe Tones, and Pete St. John)

Hmm not too sure about Aslan - I know a good few non-scummy types who like them. "Crazy World" is a pretty good song.
The rest are spot on, though.

A couple of others I'd add would be:

    "Now You're Gone" by Basshunter
    "Bongo Song" by Safri Duo

I do love a chance to generalise.

    All of the following:

HipHop/Rap. That would be the whole genre.
Urban. Everything with this label attached.
Most of Aslan and Oasis in their entirety.
Dare I say everything you would hear on the X-Factor and similar programmes.

Everything by Basshunter, Cascada, Scooter and Wolfe Tones. Listen to your Heart by DHT, Heaven by DJ Sammy, Infinity 08 by Guru Josh (shame, I liked the original) and anything by the Blackout Crew, I seen them in a night club and I almost though up, and it had nothing to do with how much I drank!

That "Infinity" song...what a horrible sweaty **** stained pile of ****....

I felt embarrassed for the guys from Blackout Crew when they brought out Put A Dunk On It...absolutely tragic that was.

Indy types won't want to hear this but scumbags's girlfriends (scumbags WAGS) absolutely love coldplay, to quote "they're fugghin animal so they are!". The flat above me demonstrates this every summer when they have a barbecue on their balcony.

I was happy to hear this, further reinforcing my opinion that coldplay's music is for idiots (and their girlfriends).

Skangers never have decent taste in hip hop so no, not the whole genre. Fair enough if you were to say DMX/Fiddy Cent.

The Streets - Dry yer eyes mate, or whatever that abortion is called.
    DJ Quicksilver - Bellisima
Fragma - Toca's Miracle (an abortion compared to the original)
Anything by 50 "I got shot nine times" Cent
Anything by Daddy Puffter, Puff Daddy, P.Diddy, Sean Combs or whatever he's calling himself this year.
That F*ck You song that came out about four years ago.
Oh jesus, i could go on for hours with this sh*t, so i'm gonna stop now.

And for the skangerettes - Anything by Dido
