Is there anywhere in Dublin that has full time MA courses? [pref TKD]

Or at least some clubs that train more than twice a week, and at a little higher-than-average intensity

I think there is a full time TKD dojang in the city centre.

Most of the dublin MMA clubs train at least 4 times a week also.

    Hi,

for full time tkd, check out www.inta.ie for the different clubs. The exchequer st one is full time. However, you could always pick two other clubs and train in both of them to increase no. of days, that's what I do.

Another full time club is www.iutf-dublin.com , Jon who posts here runs it.

Where in Dublin are you? For "higher than average intensity", the Terenure club is good!

If the OP's clearly stated preference is for TKD training, then please offer your advice on that. This kind of comment only leads to the thread going on off a silly tangent, but you already knew that.

    wait for it..... Mod :D

Maybe a silly question but what is full time training? Is it like a 9-5 job where you are training instead of sitting at a desk daydreaming?

For the most part training 5 days a week. I'm not sure MAs are popular enough to have training throughout the day like in the US. For the most part MA clubs [particuarly TMAs] are usually once or twice a week. So if you want to train in TKD 5 days a week you may have to find a couple of clubs.

I appreciated your info but wasnt sure abt your 2nd comment

Should it end in ...but ye cant make them join your MMA club?

    ANYWAYS

    Thanks for all the replies

TKD SC I'm in Tallaght meself

I think the 2 clubs around here are both on the same days

Also, would 2 clubs not clash with gradings etc?

I kinda wanted full time at one club to hopefully move back up the gradings chain a bit faster
[I was a TKD blue belt when I was 14 but quit bein a lazy teen so hafta start from scratch!]

    Cheers!

If they are part of the same organization then it shouldn't be a problem. You might want to find one outside of Tallaght then. The only problem would be if you decide to compete which one would you represent.

Good luck with the training, everyone has their own way. Good idea to pick w local clubs and train 4 nights if that suits.
