Guys and Jewelery

I'm a guy. I wear 9-10 pieces of jewelery regularly. This would include 5 bracelets on my right arm, a watch on my left arm, a ring, and 3 chains around my neck (a 'history of ireland' silver cross, a shark-tooth and a beaded one).

    Is this weird?

Yes, personally i think it looks like you are trying to make some sort of statement with that crap, even the one looks stupid.

Is it gold or silver you wear. It really depends.

The celtic cross, ring and watch are all silver. The others are all beaded/wooden.

    I'm the same.
    Two beaded necklaces.
    Watch
    Ring
Fair few beads I've picked up in different places on my right arm
    And a scapular

Its not weird, see lots of people that wear this much jewellery, personally its wouldn't be something that would attract me to a lad tho.
One watch, and maybe, maybe a nice chain (not tat), and by chain i dont mean silver/gold or the like.
Again its all depends on the wearer, but weird, no.

Well gold appears to be a lot more ostentatious than silver but really who cares what people think about the jewellery you wear. You should wear what you want to wear and if anybody dosen't like it then that's their opinion. Different strokes, etc.

Each to their own really. What suits some mightn't suit others. It depends on the look you're going for - if the surfer/hippy look beads and wooden jewellery etc. are the way to go, if the rocker look silver rings, crosses, chains, piercings etc.

Myself, I just wear a watch. And if/when I get married I'll wear a ring also. Plain and simple. In my opinion a man should wear as little jewellery as possible, but always wear a watch.

PS. OP, nothing wrong with what you're wearing, as long as there's no gold sovereigns! :D

Men and loads of jewellery is the biggest turn off for me. A watch is fine, and maybe a bracelete, but anymore and its a big no no

I think, as is the case with women, that less is more and, without having seen you, that that really sounds like a lot of jewellery for a fella. But whatever you're comfortable in! I wouldn't say anyone's taste is 'weird'. :)

my own opinion is that wearing all that stuff would look crap, especially having 3 things round your neck. but then i don't wear any at all, not even a watch. i wouldn't wear anything though if we had the climate

It really depends. Large amounts of jewlery can look great or awful. It's not gold though, so I'm sure you look grand.
