Hi all. Working in an office, and the amount of paper notes being left around the place and the problems they cause is unreal! we have 6 pc's here. ID prefer to keep internal and external emails seperate, is there the equivalent of outlook for internal emails? what are my options? thanks for your time! :)

you could just use an internal instant messenger application.

we used to use this at work. was really helpfully.

you will need to have a server to host it.

You could also have a different program, like ThunderBird.

My mum's company uses Windows Live Messenger for internal messages and its really handy, probably better than email because its all instant.

Outlook is just a program that talks to email servers. What you are looking for is some dedicated email accounts.

Depending on the sensitivity of the information you may not want that hosted on a third party system though, and thats where things have the potential to get tricky or expensive.

Yeah you can just use Outlook for internal mails also.

    a) Setup every internal user with a Gmail account.

    b) Setup this account on Outlook Outlook 2003 Gmail Setup

(You can use multiple email accounts with Outlook so it wont effect your current external email)

    c) Setup a folder in Outlook called 'Internal' Folder Setup

    d) Setup a mail rule to automatically put any emails from your internal users Gmail accounts into the created folder Internal. Mail Rules
