    Noticed a couple of skips earlier where the sound went for a split second, but none recently.

    Having the exact same problem with Sky+,picture freezes and hangs.Although seems to run more smoothly when watching something thats already recorded.Weather or box?

    I'm going to ring Sky to see what they think.

    Hi there. I have been having almost the same problem. The picture freezes only for a bare second. Sometimes, I change to another channel, only to have audio and no pic. This lasts for only a second or two, but never happened before. Thought my Sky + box was belly-up, but am glad someone else is also having problems.....

    my box just turned itself off today and it was about two minutes before i could turn it back on again
    this is my second box in about 3 months

    Mine did that last week too and when I managed to turn it back on again the skipping and hanging screen was corrected. I haven't had it since.
