Seems good to me. I'd say most of the stolen batch was the HDR version. Comes down 143€ delivered. That's a good deal for a HD set. It might be my own Christmas present.:D
The HDR version seems like the ultimate must-have though, still a bit pricey though...

I'm not sure I'd like to have a box like that going through the post...
Too much risk in it being broken on arrival with all the shifting in and out of vans etc.

Posted on this somewhere else, I ordered this box on friday, received it monday, delivered by Nightline, double boxed so genuine inside box was perfect. 148 charged to credit card, works perfectly including HD channels.....do it, just do it

Forgive my ignorance, but is this the satellite equivalent of the box for terrestrial?? Cheers.

If by equivalent you mean nearly the same, but not quite, then YES. Freesat doesn't provide as much as Freeview (less channels, no BBCiplayer, can't remember the rest).
But you get the essential and since Freesat is not even a year old, it's evolving (fast enough IMO) and most of all it's available in all over the ROI unlike Freeview!

I'm tempted to get one of these. I have a satellite cable coming through into the kitchen which is not being used as I watch my 2nd box through a magic eye. As my kitchen tv is HD this is an option to watch some HD TV(Not much yet I know) away from the lounge as well as being handy in case economics force me to cancel my subs. Space would be my prob. Anyone know whether these boxes can be stood on their side without any adverse effects?

    thanks

I think, but would have to check, that the air outlet is on the top, so you should be able to stand it on its side...the box itself is tiny compared to my Sky box, so it should be easy to hide anyway

I would not worry too much about that, almost every pice of satellite equipment sold in Europe has travelled several thousand miles. Its a great price for a humax .

I also wouldn't be too worried about that. They usually come by courier - rather than standard post - parcleforce/GLS seems to be common in my experience. In the last year or so I've taken delivery of FOXSAT HD, DVD/HDD recorder, laptop and 2 TV's (37 and 19 inch) via courier from UK - all arrived without a scratch - touch wood! Personally though I avoid ebay.
