Usually i book my Summer holidays in january. Just wondering what peoples plans are this year. Are people going on sun holidays, city breaks or keeping it local - or are people even going on holidays?

At the moment im very sceptical about booking in january, i think ill wait and see how things go.

I'm booked! Booked my hols to Orlando next August about a month ago. I got a good deal on the hotel and flights at a price I was happy with so I just went ahead and did it. I have cut back in other area's because of the recession and probably won't take a city break early in the year which I normally do, but I decided to go ahead and book my holiday because it is the one thing I look forward to all year and it gets me through some tough days in work!

I never book early - a month or two before departure is plenty of time.

I'd rather cut back on daily/weekly expenditure than on my holidays.
Skip a few nights in the boozer here over the year and it'll pay for the trips away.

I'll most likely do the usual long-haul for the main holiday with a couple
of shorter breaks around Europe as well.

I haven't a clue what to do, to be honest I don't usually book in January. I normally go for a city break early in the year and then somewhere in September and maybe another short breaks towards the end of the year. I reckon this year though there will be great deals so I'm going to keep my options open.

Like others have said, i wouldnt get through the year without at least one.
Had 3 this year but dont think that will be happening next year!
