What number does Sky dial when connected to the phoneline?

    Hey guys,

    I only ask because we're getting Multiroom in the house next week, no problems with the phone lines or anything like that but I'm a little sceptical about what number it dials out and how often?

    I had to do a test call recently regarding a Broadband issue and a 8 second call to my Meteor cost 15 cent (I've just got line rental + Broadband). Now if the Sky calls out 3 times a day because of the Multiroom, I can see the bill building up :rolleyes:

    Don't know how often boxes in a multi-room sub phone home but would hazard at least once a month for billing purposes. Almost positive it doesn't cost you anything. Couldn't have that with around eight million subscribers.

    8 million subscribers at 0.01 cent per call = €80,000 a day - lightbulb! :p
