Upstairs in the Jervis Centre ina shop called Penthouse have really nice coats. Also River Island might have one or two nice ones but Penthouse is my favourite for nice mens coats.

Try TK Maxx. Seriously. They have had some unbelievable coats there over the last month. Might be all gone now.

I bought 2 Feraud coats there. One was charcoal grey, double breasted, hand stitching, length to just below the waist, pockets are at the rib cage. I wear it to work and it's the business. The second is more formal. Dark brown and single breasted, hand stitching, knee length and pockets at the hip bone. Both are 20% Cashmere wool, 80% virgin wool. Both down from €550 to €100. And they look and feel like they are worth €550.

Recently saw some nice William Hunt (Saville Row London tailor) coats for about €150. And some Calvin Kleins about the same price too. All good heavy woollen coats. But they do sell quick!

TK Maxx is a good bet if you're willing to brave it.

French Connection are also great and their main store in the Powerscourt Townhouse is cheaper than their franchises.
