    Don't judge me.

I am not confident enough to try it but....

.....if I take my sky (Ireland) card out reverting to the uk epg can I record from itv....bbc3 and so on...and will it stay on my hard drive (sky+)....

......I just don;t have the nerve to try it in case I make a balls of my system.

    Wodja reckon?

No. You need your subscription card to use the Sky+ features. It won't record without it.

    What happens if you

    1. Remove card
    2. Get up the UK EPG
    3. Select channel you want (ITV for instance)
    4. Put your card back in
    5. Press record

When you put the card back in your on the Irish EPG again so I'm afraid it wont work
