    Somebody tried to steal our car last night. Obviously a local scumbag - tried to screwdriver the door open, fair bit of damage to the driver door. We have an open drive, no gate, but the previous resident had a post, so the hole with bolt flap is still there. Anyone know where to get a post?

    Any engineering/metal fabrication workshop will be able to make one up for you. With the way things are at the moment you'll have no problem finding a few idle ones

    Where abouts are you based?

    I got one supplied and fitted in my last place by a local engineering firm in Lucan, just by the weir in Hills Industrial estate.
