    Hi

Smyths opens until 11pm at the moment.
Woodies closed at 6pm last saturday- I know because I got caught out!
PC World is open until 8 or 9 pm. Most of the electrical stores are open until 9pm at night usually, and 6pm at weekends.

Most of the shops don't actually open that late for Christmas like Dundrum- surprisingly.

the shops in the older block (pc world, 53, smiths etc) open till around 9 iirc.

Harvey closes much earlier than the others, either 6 or 7. every time i'm up there its closed:mad:

And SMiths in open later till Christmas as said by other poster

Are those opening hours correct for all stores?

I was there recently on a Wednesday at 8pm and some stores seemed to be still open?

on a seperate issue did you see Gormely has reversing a decision to allow The park to develop a retail centre.....what a shame, would have done very well up there. Government is a joke, imagine the jobs that would have been created - first Ryanair now this

you got a source on that, it seems like madness to do that!

Tesco have a site there that they were looking to develop as a large store with offices above for the new HQ, though not sure if that still on the cards anymore.

Was that the Park or the empty land up at Cherrywood?

the park. as you're coming down "the driveway" into it, it would have been on your right iirc

    Aah, right.

That would be perfect for Tesco.

looks like that is who it was going to be

    http://www.tribune.ie/business/news/article/2008/sep/07/aib-clients-in-70m-deal-for-carrickmines-site/

will be interesting to see how it plays out, cant see the developer lying down without a fight. badly needed in the area aswell as there is nothing other than Dunnes (Beacon, Cornelscourt & Leopardstown)
