I recently installed a trial version of Adobe CS4 on my macbook. I didnt want this trial so then I didn't uninstall these applications but instaed just trashed them.

Now i am just after getting the full version of Adobe CS3 and when i begin to install the application as its installing a message pops up saying "Insert CS4 disc to continue".

I think this is a result of me having the CS4 installed but not properly uninstalled. Is there any way i can uninstall CS4 even though its not on my mac??

Download a trial of AppZapper and use it to get rid of the rest of the files. Not sure if it works without the main app to drag into it- you might have to reinstall the trial to uninstall it fully (a bit silly, I know)

go into the utilities folder and open adobe installer and then thats how you uninstall the adobe packages.

for all other uninstalls i use appdelete as well, its great.

There should be a terminal script on the adobe website for those specific applications. There was major problems with cs3 beta and then installing the full version, so go check adobe's website.
