Will the recession affect Smurfit rolling deadlines?

Should I just apply now for Smurfit before the first deadline? Does the recession mean a higher amount of applicants so positions will be filled before the 2nd deadline?

Smurfit won't fill up as such, it will all depend on the individual programme. In general you might as well apply sooner rather than later.
