    Folks,

Does anyone know how long it takes for a Way of Leave license to be issued by Galway County council?

We applied for our phone line in August and there is a pole to be put up outside the house. We're still waiting on Eircom to put this up. They said they're waiting on the license. Our planning permission didnt take this long!

These are granted by the planning authorities. However they are not given priority within the council so its literally wait till they get around to it.

Never come across that before. Are you saying that the council must give a wayleave to Eircom in respect of a pole/line?
