The cycling governing body can't afford to catch Armstrong, their sport is already in the gutter as it is.

His lungs take in way more oxygen than a normal person. That's how he does it.

None of you seem to be aware of that.

Ah, he's no Stephen Roache and he never will be!!
Isn't there a CLOUD over his career aswell ? ie. that dodgy doctor that was in his team at the time, I remember a documentary about it a long time ago !
Also, Stephen's son is doing well at the mo, big things are expected !!

Armstrongs VO2 max is massively higher than most normal people. He doesnt produce as much lactic acid as most normal people either meaning his muscles dont fatigue as easily as normal peoples he can also recover from stress/fatique much faster.

That said, I find it somewhat incredible that he did all he did after his Cancer Scare, his chances of survival were much lower than was reported apparently.

Yep true that. Meant to be closer to 5% instead of what the doctors told the lad. Incredible. The brothers had cancer for a few years and is always on the bike. Bit of an inspiration this Lance lad.

And you don't seem to be aware of the fact that it's not how much oxygen you can inhale but rather than how fast you can distribute it throughout your body.

That's why cyclist abuse EPO (erythropoetin). It increase's the production of red blood cells so they can transport more oxygen.
