    I have them, and don't have problems with them riding up, but as with a lot of things YMMV -pull your socks over the ankles, and wear shoe covers and you'll be fine I reckon

    If the tights fit you properly - i.e. aren't baggy and are long enough - then you don't need those loops.

    I have skinny ankles and I have no problems with tights that do not have foot loops. More important than footloops are bib-straps to stop the tights slipping down.
