At the tender age of 27 i wanna try get into this wonderful game real soon as i believe the new season starts up in Jan? I've been looking round some stores in the city (arnotts/elverys etc) and said it to a guy in my college class, he told me they are basically a rip off for hurls, helms and slíotars...so i'd like to know, if he is correct, where to get some of the gear cheaper maybe? Btw i'm not in a club yet so dunno if they actually get stuff in bulk and sell off to the members or what...I'd love some input on this please if thats cool:)

you would be better off getting the stuff thro a club as the hurls are better and it will be cheaper. If you know anyone in a club down the country you could ask them to get you a couple of hurls. Now is the best time as its quieter.
