Watching Sky, I cant help but wonder does football coverage get the same treatment in Germany, France, Spain, Italy , amongst other countries..

At times Sky seem to go over the top on alot of things with their over in depth analysis of the game, the same can be said but to a lesser extent for RTE and ITV.

Are incidents after the game over analysed to death, for example if a player did something in the EPL and the ref didnt pick up on it would be done to death after the game?

If anyone here speaks another language or is from outside the UK or Ireland, is football presented in the same manner as in the UK and Ireland?

Here in Spain 9 out of 10 games have NO analysis whatsoever. Programme starts about 60 seconds before kick-off and a 15min ad-break at halftime. When finished it ends immediately and on to the next programme.

Have you lived in UK or Ireland, and are you familiar with their analysis?
